The Lotus Yoga Centre has been on this site for the last 35 years. Its founder Eric Doornekamp, and later with his wife Cathryn Doornekamp, have provided Yoga, Tai Chi Qigong, Massage and Iridology to the wider community throughout this time. The new Centre provides not only the same high quality yoga, tai chi qigong and meditation classes, but also offers the services of other therapists too, e.g. Massage, Life Coaching and Counselling.

The community house is a great place to meet, have a drink and share a meal with other residents and relax. If you want, you can book the space so you and your friends can get together for a meeting or celebration. We have full kitchen facilities, tables and chairs for up to 30 people.

We have created a one bedroom apartment on the top level of the community house for guests of the Lotus Eco Village. All residents will have access to a certain number of days per year for that overflow of family or friends.

Now that the building work is complete, we have started work creating our community gardens. The garden will have raised garden beds, fruit and nut trees. The community will manage these and everyone will work together to grow food to eat and to share. This community garden is adjacent to our village green, which is also starting to be created and is an open space for all to enjoy!

The old garage has been converted into our workshop and it will house workbenches and tools for all to use. Imagine being able to create and build things with like-minded people.
